...are hellu fun. Let's make an effort this week to level up (especially our Naval Officers) so we can be more of a force in them. The Bloody Gauntlet mission is boring as hell but it could get the job done. I'll bite the bullet and commit to doing that for an hour or so a night to help everyone out. Also, we are going to have to start looking at making SOLs for our Naval Officers once they reach 50. NOs, let me know when you are getting close as it is going to take some effort to put these ...

This evening we danced with The Macabre again, with not so favorable results.

Deciding to try some PvP; Finian Black, Burnt Ashes, Alfredo Morales and myself left Sisal harbour with Finian Black flagged for action. We encountered the well known Pirate Halod Crane, who quickly engaged Finian Black. After the rest of us joined the battle, Halod fled. Twice more Halod engaged us or was engaged by us, eventually adding his friend (same guy we killed the night before with a messed up name ...

Last night Pablo, Richard, Ven, Octavious, Sloth and myself raised the contention almost 2,000 points by ourselves. The coup-de-grace came in a battle with 6 French players of various societies against 5 of us. We had:

Gallant

Discovery

MC Straslund

Straslund

Xebec (can't remember if Gus has MC or Sleek)

We destroyed:

Triton

Capriceaux

Cerberus

2 other Frigates I can't recall

A Naval Cutter was able to run.

We only lost Sloth in the Gallant.

Fallen Angel

Baldric

Eve Albrecht

Korenth Fell

Furice Bones

We sent them all to Davey Jones and only lost Ashes. Sorry Ash!

Pablo, Alfredo(Mike), and myself took on those two well-known Pirates and sent them both down to Davey Jones' Locker. Jack Simple fell quickly to me after a boarding action, but Halod repulsed my crew handily, even though he was vastly outnumbered.

Lesson to us all, don't engage Halod in a boarding action, he has some knowledge of boarding combat that surpasses ...
